As mentioned, this is your go-to spot for Holly news. Since Charmed ended, Holly has explored new opportunities in film and television. She starred in Pretty Little Liars, a hit series that debuted in June 2010 and went on to win 21 awards with 22 nominations. Holly played Ella Montgomery, the mother of Aria (Lucy Hale), one of the show's main characters. Pretty Little Liars, based on the best-selling young adult novels by Alloy Entertainment, follows four teen girls-Aria, Emily (Shay Mitchell), Hanna (Ashley Benson), and Spencer (Troian Bellisario)-as they navigate dark secrets and mysterious threats. The show aired for 7 successful seasons.

Holly has also contributed behind the scenes. She served as associate producer for the documentary Why Just One?, released on November 1, 2016, in partnership with the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society. She shared,

"I became a Sea Shepherd supporter a few years ago when I learned of their amazing work defending the oceans and her inhabitants. Sea Shepherd has shined an international spotlight on the slaughter of dolphins in Japan and the documentary Why Just One? will bring that same international spotlight on the poaching of sea turtles in Costa Rica. I look forward to many more years of working with the courageous and dedicated volunteers of Sea Shepherd."

In 2016, Holly starred in Love's Complicated, a Hallmark film shot in Sudbury, Ontario. She played Leah Townsend, a woman stuck in a predictable relationship who unexpectedly finds herself in a conflict-management class. There, she meets a charming, wave-making radio host, leading her to rediscover herself and what love really means. The movie premiered on January 9th, 2016. Holly also reunited with her Charmed co-star and best friend, Shannen Doherty, for the 2015 travel series Off the Map with Shannen & Holly. The show followed them on a road trip across the southeastern U.S., through states like Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida. Fans got to interact with the show, voting online for the adventures Holly and Shannen would take on.

"Shannen and I had a blast doing Off the Map. Our fans' participation in the online voting and their support during production made it an unforgettable experience," Holly shared.

Holly's film and TV work also includes Panic Button (originally titled Point of Entry), which premiered on Lifetime in 2007, and the 2009 unaired pilot for Mistresses (based on the British series), in which she also served as co-producer and writer.

Outside of work, Holly keeps busy with her three sons-Finley, Riley, and Kelley-as well as her many pets. She married restaurateur Mike Ryan of Xoc on September 7th, 2019.
